About RHMC Institute
This Institution was established in 1996-1997, for imparting and promoting Homoeopathic education in Saurashtra region. It is permanently affiliated with Parul University from April 2015. Parul University is a State University It is accredited with grade ‘A++’ by NAAC in the year 2023 and with this we become the youngest University in the country to get this grade
Rajkot Homoeopathic Medical College is situated in the centre of the Rajkot City and easily approachable (1 km from Bus Stand, 3 kms from Railway Station & Airport). The College is also recognized by UGC under section 2(f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act 1956. The institute has its own multi-storied buildings, 12 teaching departments, and 5lecturers’ hall. The institution has Wi-Fi campus under the monitoring of CCTV camera, well-furnished lecture theatres with LCD facilities, Departments, Complete Digital Library, Laboratories, Auditorium, Demonstration rooms & Museum. Rajkot Homoeopathic Medical College imparts quality education in Homoeopathy with Under Graduate & Post Graduate Courses with an intake capacity of 100 students in UG and 24 Students in P.G. (Homoeopathic Materia Medica – 06 Seats, Organon of Medicine :- 06 Seats, Repertory :- 06 Seats and Practice of Medicine :- 06 Seats.)
The College’s teaching hospital – Sainath Hospital has been accredited by NABH from 27th October 2021 valid up to 3 yrs. i.e. 26th October 2024.It has a fully equipped Hospital (O.P.D. & 04 I.P.D., 07 Health Centre, OT & Labor Room) with ultra-modern facilities. The college and hospital team meet the community’s health needs by regularly hosting homoeopathic camps in outlying areas. Furthermore, the hospital participates in family welfare initiatives, the distribution of COVID-19 immune boosters, universal immunisation campaigns, and pulse polio programs.
To reach the highest professional and ethical standards in the field of homoeopathic education, Rajkot Homoeopathic Medical College has successfully carried out a number of academic and extracurricular activities in a short amount of time. In addition to its academic programmes, the college offers a variety of extracurricular sports and community service opportunities to its students.
The institution further enhances student education by providing a variety of learning opportunities, including classroom seminars, workshops, symposiums, webinars, expert lectures, and self-directed learning through its PULMS portal. In an effort to link research with education, Rajkot Homoeopathic Medical College and the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The Anatomy Lab: It has 4 Dissection Tables, 05 Bone-sets and adequate numbers of bones, 1 Mummified body to show surface markings and 65 wet Specimens in its museum.
Physiology laboratory: The lab has all the equipment as per the NCH norms. The lab has a museum containing adequate charts and models for better understanding of the students.
Biochemistry laboratory: The lab has all the equipment as per the NCH norms. The lab has a museum containing adequate charts and models for better understanding of the students.
Pharmacy lab: The pharmacy lab is fully ventilated and well equipped. The museum contains more than 50 specimens. The department also maintains the herbal garden having 25 species of plants.
Pathology lab: The pathology lab contains all the equipment as per the NCH Norms. The museum contains 28 specimens.
FMT Department: FMT department has a museum with more than 200 specimens.
Community Medicine Department: It has its own museum containing more than 40 specimens and an adequate number of charts and models for practical demonstration.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department: This clinical department regularly conducts Clinical Postings at the Hospital for full clinical exposure of the students. This department has an adequate number of charts, instruments, teaching materials in the form of CD’s and transparencies to fulfil complete clinical training.
Surgery Department: This clinical department regularly conducts Clinical Postings at the Hospital for full clinical exposure of the students.
