International student’s affair cell [abbreviated as ISAC] was established in the year 2013 under Parul University. The foremost objective behind the establishment of the cell is to provide a nurturing and supportive environment to make international students transition to Parul University and India simple and pleasant. International student’s affair cell has a team of dedicated faculties who can provide information about life at the University. The International student’s affair cell is one point contact for all international students in case of any problem whatsoever during their stay at the University. The International student’s affair cell of Parul University seeks to promote and facilitate international student’s development outside the classroom as well as enhancing the quality of life for the international students.
ISAC responds to the informational and personal concerns of international students. ISAC also plays a major role in promoting and upholding the shared values and ideals of the University community. A variety of student services such as advocacy, student counseling, sports and recreation, information about scholarships and study grants, student health insurance, information for parents and families, absence notices, references/verification for postgraduate schools and employments, and other support services are provided. The Division of Student Affairs provides assistance in the times of personal or community crisis, such assistance includes offering medical, psychiatric, and psychological services, arranging for conflicts resolution through mediation or adjudication, and facilitating the work of representatives of non-campus agencies. In all functional areas, ISAC operates within the framework of Parul University Administrative Policies and Procedures. ISAC Objectives also include the proper use of human, fiscal and resources to fulfill University’s requirements for effective planning, policy formulation and evaluative processes’ as well as maintaining effective and productive working relationship with other units on campus.
