The purpose of organizing workshop is to create awareness amongst students and staff about latest development in the related field. Students can get the exposure of hands on training with the use of latest tools and techniques in the working environment as a professional. This kind of workshops can be proven as skill development programs for the next generations of work force. This efforts beyond curriculum helps to enrich knowledge of faculty members to get empowerment in teaching learning.
Workshop on Design, Simulation, Analysis of Commercial Car and De-Assembly of Internal Combustion Engine
Department of Automobile Engineering had organized three days workshop entitled “Design, Simulation, Analysis of Commercial Car and De-Assembly of Internal Combustion Engine”. The aim to organize this workshop is to create awareness about application of modeling software for designing of I.C. Engine components, its virtual assembly and analysis amongst the students and faculty members. Hands-on Practice for modelling and assembly of different components using Solidworks environment performed by participants. Over and above the hands-on experience to create virtual assembly, participants had experienced to de-assemble and assemble the real engine on the last day of workshop. Mr. Prashant Sharma and Mr. Ashish Chandra of Metawing Technologies, Noida had conducted technical sessions which includes basics of science and technology to application of the same in Automobile Engineering.
