Faculty Development Programs

Faculty Development Program provides the environment of continuous learning amongst faculty members. This culture of continuous learning helps to widen the limits of understanding of the topic which ultimately helps to improve teaching-learning process.
Faculty Development Program organized on “Practical Performance on 4-Stroke Multicylinder Petrol Engine and Diesel Engine Test Rig” which provides hands-on experience to perform practicals of Heat balance, Morse test and to get better understanding of different parameters on engine performance. Analysis of performance parameters is to be carried out for plotting the graph and to achieve improved performance of the engine.
To get with emerging changes in today’s technology, a Short Term Training Program entitled as “Emerging Trends in Product Development” was organized as a joint venture by Automobile & Mechanical Department. Some of the eminent personalities like Dr. A. R. Srinivas-Head-AMDD/SAC-ISRO-Ahmedabad, Dr. Nitin Padhiyar from IIT Gandhinagar and various industrial experts addressed a total of 57 participants from various educational institutions which consist various faculty members and PG students.
