Dr. Niraj Shah is the Director of Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology. He is a blend of industrial, academic as well as administrative experience. He joined academics as a Lecturer at Changa and served in various capacities like Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, Head of Department and Principal In charge at Chandubhai S Patel Institute of Technology, CHARUSAT, Changa. His last assignment prior to joining Parul University was as Principal, Babaria Institute of Technology.

He has to his credit, 3 Books and 38 Research Papers published at reputed National and International Conferences and Journals. As a technical expert, he has completed 13 industry consultancy projects. He has organized more than 15 workshops/seminars as a team leader/convener. He delivered more than 10 Expert Lectures at various institutes of state. He is a member of various professional bodies like Indian Geo-technical Society, Indian Society for Wind Engineering, Indian Science Congress Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, Indian Roads Congress, Institute of Engineers, Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Concrete Institute.

He has travelled Malaysia & Europe to represent India at International Conferences.
