Workshops

The main objective of arranging workshops is to introduce effective teaching learning methods which can be beneficial to faculties as well students and improve basic knowledge in various fields. It also aims to make aware students and faculties about current trend in an industry. Recently department has arranged workshop on Analog System Design, Hands-On in High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), Arm Based Embedded Linux and Hands-On with Labview.

Hands-on with LABView

The Faculty Training Program on “Hands-on with LABView” held at EC engineering department of Parul University. Hands-on session was conducted by Prof. Roma Patel. Prof Roma had introduced software, Named LABView from National Instruments, which is now very useful software for data acquisition system and Virtual Instrumentation. She had discussed features of software, and then she started to demonstrate the detailed process of working with it and how to design different types of system using it. After that session Faculty members started to work with that software, they had design some basic to complex system using LABView. The main objective of the program was to introduce effective teaching learning methods for Instrumentation LAB and Simulation-Design tools LAB with help of LABView software.

Analog System Design

The Faculty Training Program on “Analog System Design” was held at E&C engineering department recently. Session was conducted by Mr Ashish Pushalkar from ASM Electronics. Mr. Ashish had shown how to select different components and how to test components? And also showed some important electronic circuit which is frequently used in analog design. He had also emphasized on design of analog system supporting to digital one. The main objective of the program was to introduce effective teaching learning methods for Electronics workshop and improve basic knowledge of different electronics components.
