Faculty Development Programs

Teaching faculties are essential resource persons in the institute to carry on routine curricular activities. Therefore it is always required that there knowledge is getting updated with all the relevant information. In this context faculty development programmes are to be conducted at regular intervals.
For that institute is organizing various activities like guest lectures from eminent speakers, participation in reorientation programmes, deputation duties like education fair etc.
Overall, the aim of all this training programs is to support medical educators in adapting to changing missions of teaching and to enhance the efficiency and performance of their teaching skills while improving work satisfaction and teaching confidence by developing good teachers. It has been suggested that comprehensive FDPs should have four development components: professional, instructional, leadership, and organization.
